DEATH VALLEY: I NEXT ONE---------->

It is an unfortunate truth that black backgrounds work best when showing off most photography or art. Something about the contrast I guess. Not being a photographer or artist, I wouldn't know. In any case, I apologize for the poor readability here. I follow what I see and expect, shortly, to be shorn for it. Anyway, as we headed off towards Death Valley there was a multiple car crack up on our little two-lane freeway and since the POSSLQ was driving I was able to snap some shots. Since I first started shooting Cosmetology "fashion shows" I have been a fan of the deliberately opened shutter to get semi-surrealistic effects. As we passed the crash I took this one (and you can see, if you look v. carefully, the brilliantly bright lettering on the side of the emergency vehicle.
