A Thing I Never Knew

Possessing a thoroughly US sense of geography, I had no idea that Russia actually shares a border with Korea. That's a weird looking little set of territorial ithsmusses (sp?).

Looks like a border war just waiting to happen.

  • The Yalu River divides North Korea from China, and Tuman River separates North Korea from China and Russia. The place where three borders meet, I was told, is supposed to be a great tourist attraction for its splendid scenery, especially in winter.

    Also, isthmus is the correct spelling.
